This is Hidalgo street in Manila. The easiest way to go here is by train (LRT) Carriedo Station. Enter Isetann Mall then Sm. I went here to buy films for my camera, cheaper as always. And oh I saw and said hi to EGG FIASCO with his Girl.
So while waiting for the stocks, I went outside and ate siomai. You have no idea how classssickkk these Siomais are. For six pesos per piece, you’ll end up paying more than 30 pesos because it is that good. The chili sauce is so authentic I cant explain. lol
While eating, I was starting at this SM clearance outlet. I remembered dad told me this is the first ever SM in the Philippines. (Correct me N if I’m wrong)… No wonder this is the first ever SM, when you go inside, there were really a lot of people buying stuff, its amazing. It feels good and it inspires me a lot observing all these people.
..They always take good care of our people.. since the beginning.
On the other side is Isetann. Another mall that is always filled with a lot of people. Good basic buys like socks, shirts, jeans, shoes, watches.. like these..

I’m not sure if these watches are brand new. But the price ranging from 995 to as high as 5k ish. Amazing right. Goldddd watches.

Casio watches? Nice! I like the black ones.

On the sidewalk, you’ll encounter this fish vendor, not the fish you’re gona cook, but these fishes like Gold Fish, Fighting fish and all. But there’s a warning, “No Fishing” lol (Reminded me of all the Gold fish I had before, my first ever pet)

Then I met Mang Rody. A member of a photographers club here in Manila. We had a lonnnnnnnnng conversation just talking about photography and stuff. We were right in front of his old friends shop along Hidalgo Street. He was talking about all these things like the transition of analog to digital. And… I told him I bought films.. bla bla bla bla loooong story. Til we ended up helping each other. We got a deal? I’ll help him with his project in Correjidor — Malate Tunnel Project, in exchange, he will teach me how to develop B&W photos.
It was such a long day. And I have to end it just like that. I’m very thankful I have this something that enables me to talk to anyone.. Well atleast to Mang Rody, the salesman in Sm, the Siomai vendor.. and to you. Thanks for reading my story for today. I know I need to practice more my writing skills, but I hope the photos did something for it to look and sound better lol SO the easiest way to go home on a rush hour, LRT. Good night!
